Please respond to my mail with *updated resume of consultant, current location, work status and availability to join the project and contact information* * * *Position Title : Datastage Developer* *Location : Downers Grove, IL* *Duration : 4 Months plus ** * *Overview:* Consultant will be responsible for providing design and development ETL Code utilizing the IBM Information Server Datastage V8.0. The Sr. Developer in addition, the Lead needs to be able to assist in leading and managing the developers and also help the PM in orchestrating the ETL work in concert with the other development activities that occurring on this effort. *Role/Responsibilities: * *Must have 7-10+ yrs of Data Mapping of data sources using Data Stage 8.x with parallel processing to develop ETL code including:* *Must have strong SQL understand join, groups, function, partition ( preferably with DB2 UDB 9.6 or 9.7)* Test and fix code per Unit, System Integration, Performance *Experience in creating Technical Design & Implementing ELT solution for multi-terabyte Data Warehouse and understand its impacts.* *Logical descriptions of the extract, transform, and load process * *ETL Detailed Design* *Input and output record layouts * *File/Directory naming conventions * *File/table sizing information* *File/table volume information * *File retention/archival information* *Performance tuning of ETL jobs * *Experience working with flat files, running ELT jobs concurrently.* *Data standards and metadata management SQL Standards / Processes/Tools * *ETL Development, monitoring, reporting and metrics* Familiar with data warehousing architectures Cube consolidation Should have experience in the defining ETL standards & processes Must have previous exp interfacing & working with users to discuss requirements Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
