Rate: Open (Competitive) Need to have Data processing, HIPPA *Job Description: * Create a monthly process to geocode cleaned member addresses, geocode at block group level, perform surname analysis, create indirect estimates, and transform indirect estimates into HEDIS race/ ethnicity variables of Aetna membership. *Specific Tasks* Identify members without indirect estimates or members with new address, name, or self reported race/ ethnicity data from prior indirect estimates runs. Clean member addresses to improves the current SAS Proc Geocode at block group success rate to at least 80% to 85%. With supplied RAND methodology SAS programs and US Census, use geocode and surname analysis to indirectly estimate race/ ethnicity, median income, and low education neighborhoods. Process will be monthly, automated with limited manual intervention *Required Skills* Proficient with data processing using SAS in UNIX environment. Understand HIPAA guidelines and diligence in safeguarding member personal health information.
