*Position: Control System Engineers * *Location: **Carlsbad, CA* *Duration: 6+ months * *Job details:* Education: BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Control System Engineering. Advanced degree preferred Experience: Minimum of 8 years in the development of closed loop control systems. Experience with modeling and simulation software (Visim, Matlab, etc.) and systems. Skills/Competencies: Demonstrated experience developing experiments and generating technical documentation such as specifications, design drawings, DFMEA, verification test procedures and test reports • Develop closed loop control systems for life support medical devices. • Use modeling, hardware-in-the-loop simulation and actual devices to develop, debug and tune closed loop electro-pneumatic systems. • Work with other engineering disciplines (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, and Software) to develop, implement, and verify control system solutions. • Evaluate tradeoffs between mechanical, electrical, software and control systems engineering to obtain acceptable solutions with minimal risk to schedule, safety and product cost. • Evaluate product performance on an on-going basis, initiate, and evaluate required changes to the design to improve and optimize performance. • Interface with internal and external customers, clinicians, physicians and thought leaders to create innovative product and features. • Ensure adherence to product specifications, industry standards, quality and regulatory procedures and requirements. • Ability to author formal documentation about the control system under consideration * * -- Thanks Raj TekShapers Inc.
