Position: Business Analyst Duration: 6 months
Location: Decatur and Schaumburg ( 50% travel between the 2 locations ) Skills and Knowledge Required: • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with practitioners within the organization and with vendors. • *Good understanding of SAP* • Solid understanding of best practices within IT. • Ability to initiate ideas and present opportunities. • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs • Analytical and methodical problem solver. • Ability to thoroughly document business practices and facilitate discussions around process. • Exposure to SAP ECC 6 ERP software a plus • Experience in a multi-cultural, global organization; fluent in English with other spoken languages a plus. Dimensions • Responsibility includes all SAP and non SAP applications, locations and users. • BMC Remedy is the IT Service Management toolset. • Daptiv is the primary PPM toolset. • SharePoint is the information portal standard. • SAP is the primary business system supporting most business processes. Main Accountabilities: • Seek ways to apply new technology to, and reuse existing technology to maximize the efficiency of business processes; research and provide information on technical trends and competitors' practices relevant to assigned business groups. • Manage the overall PPM lifecycle • Advise on options, risks, costs/benefits, and impact on business processes and system priorities. • Developing and monitoring efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. • Understanding of business process management, workflow and integration methods and tools. • Ensure requirements are defined, understood and feasible.
