Job Title : Oracle DBA Location: Des Moines,IA Duration: 18 Months Contract. *REQUIRED SKILLS: *5+ years of experience Highly skilled in Oracle database and SQL statement tuning with detailed understating of Oracle s performance reports AWR and Stats-Pack PL/SQL performance tuning. Ability to provide professional level technical documentation and presentation for the tuning recommendations. Working knowledge of MSSQL Server databases, SSRS and SSIS is a big Plus. Hands on experience working on Oracle 9i, 10g and 10g RAC database applications, Oracle s ASM,TDE, OEM Grid control, RMAN Good UNIX Sun Solaris, Linux knowledge and shell scripting is a plus. Basic understanding of Connection pooling and middleware software like JBoss, JRun, Tom Cat, IBM Web sphere is desired. Hands on Experience of implementing Oracle 9i and 10G database on UNIX and Linux platform is a must. Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business relationships with both internal associates and external customers and work effectively in a team environment Proficient at time and priority management.
