*Senior Data Modeler Consultant Skills: Database, SQL, Oracle, Erwin, Data Modeling*
*Location: **Charlotte**, NC** * *Length: 6 Months* *Rate: 55 $/hr* *Job Description: * Responsible for analyzing and developing complex logical database designs and data models in support of Information Systems requirements. * Responsible for identification and resolution of information flow. * Resolves data redundancy and facilitates data normalization and rationalization. * Leads complex/major efforts regarding the design and development of DBMSs. * Analyzes complex/critical data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schema(s). * Develops database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments. * Ensures that database designs incorporate the appropriate control, integrity, and accessibility of data. Tasks/Responsibilities: * With no supervision, completes DBMS related functions and ensures accuracy of work, performing trend analysis for continuous improvement. * Trains others on DBMS process steps and tool features. * Work with end users to gain an understanding of the information and core data concepts behind their Business. * Work closely with end users, Business Analysts, and the Development Team to develop these data models. * Do extensive data profiling to understand the current data and recommend model changes and or business rules for conversions. * Rationalize and eliminate duplicate data stores and seek to define the system of record for all attributes within the adabas replatform project.
