Position:Business Analyst - Lead Location:Horsham, PA Duration:6+months *Note :Contract-to-Hire so US Citizens and GC Holders. only* Description: Minimum Skills, Experience & Supervisory Requirements: These positions typically require very little management direction. They may act as an informal lead or they may manage support staff for multiple processes. Generally these roles require skilled professionals that can perform functions independently. Professional experience and a combination of appropriate education and training is required. Day to day focus is resolving complex issues and expertise is required to interpret and administer policies. Roles at this level usually have full ownership of a function(s). Duties & Responsibilities: -Competent to work as a business analyst at the highest technical level of all phases of the system development life cycle while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. -Analysis of business needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. -Document requirements independently and work with other departments as well as external customers to deliver new products or enhance existing products. -Organize and evaluate the integration of new technology systems, methodologies and technical support services. -Own all issues and work with the development team to troubleshoot, repair and maintain business application both during implementation and post-production. Computer Skills: Ability to use several desktop tools including, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Project. An understanding of SQL required. Experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and data modeling a plus. Experience as a hands on developer a plus. Experience with Team Foundation Server for source code and task tracking a plus. Experience with Photoshop a plus. Other: Bachelor's level degree desired. 3 years of experience in a related IT discipline. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. Experience working with external customers. Qualified candidate will have the ability to break down business problems into logical tasks and have the ability to think creatively. Ability to deliver multiple technical development and/or support tasks simultaneously. Must be able to pitch in and do whatever is necessary to meet the client�s needs in a timely manner. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must. Experience in financial services a plus. Thanks for your time!
