Position: BMC Remedy Consultant Duration: 5 to 6 months
Location: Decatur, IL 1) Analyze, design, Develop, implement and maintain custom Remedy workflow. 2) Analysis, design to maintain and improve the Remedy architecture. 3) Installation and implementation of patch/ version upgrades for BMC Remedy suite of applications. 4) Troubleshoot and maintain the integrations between BMC Remedy and third party applications. 5) Troubleshoot 2nd level foundation data issues and any escalated issues. 6) Load/performance monitoring for all Remedy servers. 7) Monitor and maintain Remedy load balancing 8) Develop and maintain Remedy existing and novel enhancements. 9) Troubleshoot Remedy fat client and Mid-Tier issues. 10) Work closely with the DBA and Sys admins during implementations and up-to date database refresh activities. 11) Work closely with process/application owners to discuss the Remedy issues in the team meeting and gather requirements for the enhancements. 12) Create and action CRQs and problem investigation tickets in par with CAB's process procedures. 13) Work closely with Remedy admin, CMDB admin and Reporting admin to implement, configure and troubleshoot user related/application related issues. 14) Maintain System/Data integrity across all the three Remedy landscapes (Dev, Test and Prod). Preferred certifications 1. BMC Certified Remedy skilled professional (RSP) 2. BMC Certified Remedy administrator. 3. BMC Certified Remedy developer. 4.
