Position: UNIX Admin Duration: 6 month+ contract Location: Philadelphia suburbs. Rate target will be 55/hr c to c. I need someone with excellent communication skills, there will definitely be a *face to face*, so they need to be able to make that without expenses, and the Key skills: · AIX virtualization skills · Red Hat Linux · Current IBM pSeries experience (6/7) · Solid system admin trouble shooting/break/fix skills *Position Summary* The Systems Administrator will be primarily responsible for the installation, administrating and maintenance of hardware and operating systems on IBM pSeries servers (AIX) and Intel servers (Red Hat Linux). This includes providing excellent technical support, troubleshooting and tuning for system issues. This also includes working with other team members to understand and assisting with troubleshooting 3rd party applications running on the AIX and Red Hat systems.
