*Role: Business Objects Architect* Location: Denver, CO Duration: 3 Months Contract Rate: Open + Expenses on C2C (Locals given first preference) Start Date: ASAP Skills: BIP-BI and Performance Management - Business Objects - Database with Intermediate proficiency - Rapid Marts with Intermediate proficiency - Web Intelligence with Advanced proficiency - Crystal Reports 2008 with Intermediate proficiency - Universe Designer with Advance proficiency ITG - IT - Analysis & Design Optional - OPJ - Oracle, PS and JDE - Peoplesoft with Novice proficiency The contractor will be expected to manage the Business Objects Architecture and lead and execute the development efforts to add customizations to the existing Business Objects Rapid Marts (AR, AP, GL, and Asset Management) installed at the client environment. These customizations will include Business Objects Data Services modifications, a series of Universe table and field additions, and extend their already complex environment including the use of Contexts and Linked Universes. The data source for the Rapid Marts is Peoplesoft, so a functional exposure to the product is helpful, but not required as the client will have resources available to us. An advanced proficiency with SAP BusinessObjects architecture and tool sets is required for this position. After completing the extensions to the Rapid Marts, there is a series of reports that will be ported from the old environment over to the new and the contractor will be responsible for the management and porting (development) of these reports, thus requiring a proficiency in WEBI and Crystal reporting. Project or team leadership experience is preferred. This role will be highly interactive with the client and will require high levels of collaboration with their technical and business resources. The contractor will also be responsible for the gap analysis and Rapid Mart/Universe data model design for the customizations, so good analysis and design skills are required.
