Job Title :System Admin Location :San Jose, CA Duration :6-9 months ** Job Description/Essential functions Working as part of the client's/ Force10 IT integration team you will have responsibility for 2 key tracks, email integration and virtualization of the former Force10 server infrastructure. In addition you will also help provide operational support for the legacy Force10 Windows based servers and storage systems. Requirements: BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent 10 years of experience with Windows and exchange servers, including 3 years in a Virtualized environment Demonstrated ability to complete multiple, complex technical projects Ability to lead technical discussions and projects with the IT Operations team, as well as to work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment, and deliver objectives when expected Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Solid Understanding of: Windows Server 2003/2008 Virtualization with VMware Active Directory Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 TCP/IP networking Working Knowledge of: Windows/Unix integration LDAP Virtualization with hyperV, and Solaris Zones DNS, NIS, SMTP, FTP, SSH and other common protocols Bourne shell, Perl, and Python scripting Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio -------------------------------------------- Thanks & Regards David Johnson - IT Recruiter Panzer Solutions LLC.
