We are looking for a consultant who has strong experience with *F5* and *Load balancer*. *Please share suitable profiles to [email protected]* Job Title : Cisco Engineer (F2F required after phone) Location : NYC, NY Duration : 6-12 Months Contract Must have current hands on strong experience with F5 Load Balancing. The client is seeking a Network Engineers for their NYC team. This position requires a strong Cisco Network engineer with 5+ years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting a sophisticated LAN and WAN Data Center. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of a global WAN consisting of 40+ eCommerce websites. The environment consists of Windows 2000/2003 Servers, along with some Linux systems, Cisco PIX Firewalls, IDS, switches and routers. You'll need strong technical knowledge with TCP/IP analysis and design as well as Data Center network design and implementation utilizing current technology and best practices implementation. Responsibilities: Ensure the continuous availability of all data network services and uptime of eCommerce production sites Respond to escalations, alerts from various sources, some of which must be established Responsible for troubleshooting network and software related problems Participate in planning, designing, installing and configuring local and wide area networks Monitors performance of network and servers to identify potential problems and bottlenecks Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN problems Ensure LAN/WAN environment is secure and appropriate recovery and redundancy issues are addressed Review and study selected vendor LAN/WAN software and hardware products to determine those that meet various company needs Provide technical guidance to Service & Support staff, Application Development staff or less experienced network engineers Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer in an Internet environment Must have NetScaler and/or F5 Load Balancing experience Knowledge of Windows 2000, Active Directory, IIS 5.0 / DNS / DHCP, Linux, Mac OS X, Cisco LAN and Enterprise level routers and switches Solid experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, web servers, ticketing systems, network monitoring systems Good knowledge and expertise in local and wide area networking and communications Ability to comprehend, analyze and research problems of a complex nature, make judgment decisions and recommendations as to their solution Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Ability to work in a team environment or independently with general guidelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thanks Mark Evans | Technical Recruiter Direct: 203-652-7131 Work: 203-652-1444 Ex No : 105 E-mail: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
