Location: Wayne, New Jersey We are seeking a long term Business Analyst Consultant for a 1-2 year consultant assignment. Experience with Manufacturing clients a BIG PLUS . Position Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field ·Strong Business / systems analysis experience ·Advanced knowledge of SQL query preferred ·Understanding of application development in Sharepoint, .Net and MS CRM technologies ·Familiarity with the following Microsoft tools is greatly desired: BizTalk, Analysis Services, Reporting Services and Integration Services. ·Quickly understand the business processes, issues, and data challenges and gather the necessary information to document the business / technical requirements (understand business requests,identify solutions and translate the business needs to a functional specification that is turned over to development). Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications. Requirements may be obtained by using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios,business analysis, task and workflow analysis. ·document functional requirements, system design specifications, use cases, workflow diagrams, screen, and interface designs. Document project status and assure process compliance of application development with Project Management Office. ·Work with the business to analyze business processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the business. ·Work closely with the development team to coordinate the system changes. Work closely with the QA team to ensure appropriate system testing. ·May have responsibility for preparing and executing test scripts on an as needed basis. ·Identify / leverage IT solutions to enable business objectives – analyze technical constraints and communicate alternatives to the business. System Configuration – as necessary analyzing and implementing configuration changes.
