Job Title: Peoplesoft DBA Location: Fort Worth Texas Duartion: 6+Months Contract *****MUST BE LOCAL TO TX***** *****FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW REQUIRED***** Job Description/ Required Skills: Must be a Peoplesoft Admin and have experience doing patching, configuration, installation, etc. Candidate has to have some (can be very little) Oracle DBA experience Must be a good communicator because they will be communicating with internal users at 9 other UT localtions all around the state. Main things to focus on: 10+ years experience in systems analysis, design, and software programming including: 5+ years current experience as an Oracle DBA (Oracle 9i/10g/11g) which includes Oracle database replication, database migrations, and upgrades and experience with database backup and recovery (including RMAN) 3+ years experience as a PeopleSoft DBA and/or PeopleSoft Administrator (PeopleTools 8.x, Database upgrade/Data Management Tools, PeopleSoft Application/Tools Upgrade) 5+ years experience with UNIX/LINUX Shell scripting. General understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle and project management disciplines Purpose of position: Work with multiple IT teams and functional departments to develop, maintain, and enhance Enterprise PeopleSoft Applications and Oracle databases. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent work experience). 10+ years experience in systems analysis, design, and software programming including: 5+ years experience as an Oracle DBA (Oracle 9i/10g/11g) which includes Oracle database replication, database migrations, and upgrades and experience with database backup and recovery (including RMAN); 3+ years experience as a PeopleSoft DBA and/or PeopleSoft Administrator (PeopleTools 8.x, Database upgrade/Data Management Tools, PeopleSoft Application/Tools Upgrade); 5+ years experience with UNIX/LINUX Shell scripting. General understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle and project management disciplines. Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel).
