*Senior Test Engineer* *Location: Westbrook Maine*
*Duration: 6-12 months* *Rate: 60/hr* * * *In person Required interview required..* * * *We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to work on a very key project with our Client located in Westbrook, Maine. Key responsibilities of this positions will be:* · Understands application functionality/features, use cases, requirement documents · Designs business scenarios and test scenarios to test specific features/functionality · Details out test scenarios and creates test data and sql queries for validation · Setup of QA environment (including application installations) and performs test readiness tests for system configurations · Execute functional and integration tests · Documents test failures into the defect reporting tool following the guidelines and best practices · Reports test results and quality of the software product · Assist in preparation of test plans and test strategy · Perform defect triage and root cause analysis for the defects found during testing · Ensure complete customer focus in deliveries including managing requirements, reviews, obtaining acceptance plans and feedbacks · Mentor and train other team members on product/application features/functionality, user stories and use cases · Work with scrum team to implement processes and tools to help with manual test design and execution *Required Skills:* *5-8 years previous experience* Manual Test Design & Execution Life Cycle Experience managing and developing business scenarios from user stories or use cases. Creating test scenarios and test data. Technical – SQL knowledge, scripting/programming skill in any language. OS – Ability to verify logs or troubleshoot in Windows/Unix OS environment. Event viewer, task manager, performance monitor in Windows experience a plus. Experience in performing testing of web/device testing. Installation, configuration, troubleshooting of web applications.
