*Job Title: Sr. WAN Engineer* *Location: Bartlesville, OK* *Duration: 12+ Months* Notes: GC holders & EAD preferred (not necessary, just preferred) Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day operational support and engineering for the Client global network ensuring maximum availability through proactive monitoring, analyses, maintenance, software configuration, upgrades, and patching. This will include supporting the global WAN/LAN operations, rotational 24x7 on-call, 3rd level support for connectivity/services to third parties and technical consultancy. Provide support for user's problems/issues logged in Remedy and by direct customer liaison. Specific experience, knowledge and troubleshooting skills of Cisco LAN/WAN is expected and required for this position. Good problem management/resolution capability with hands on ability and customer facing skills. Strong on documentation and processes. Capable of optimizing day-to-day operational stability with the continual need to improve the service and deploy new services, processes and technologies. QUALIFICATIONS: Cisco Networking experience, CCNA Cisco Certification a big plus. Working knowledge and troubleshooting within a large global Cisco LAN/WAN environment. Working knowledge with EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS routing protocols. Available to participate in a rotational 24x7 on-call support team. PREFERRED (not necessary): Cisco CCNP or higher certification. Experience in the configuration and support of QoS, VPN components, Cisco ASA. Specific knowledge of Cisco ACS, WAN Optimization. Exposure to Cisco Nexus, CDN, and ACE load balancers.
