Systems Administrator 30 Rockefeller Plaza NY 1 year* *Qualifications: • Minimum 2 Years of RHEL 5 Linux Server Administration. • Minimum 2 Years of Windows Server 2003/2008 Administration. • Experience with HP Servers, particularly DL380 G5/G6/G7, DL360 G5/G6 and C7000 Blades. • Experience with HP ILO (Integrated Lights Out) Administration, and the C7000 OA tool. • Demonstrated Familiarity with Networking – NIC configuration, SSH, SFTP, DNS, NFS and CIFS. • Familiarity with EMC SAN’s and various SAN Switches. Familiarity with Isilon and Netapp NAS. • Familiarity with VMWare vSphere. • Ability to detect Server Security Breaches and take appropriate action. • Demonstrated Problem-solving Skills. • Excellent Oral and Written Communications Skills; must be able to interface with End-Users and other Team Members. • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University or equivalent combination of education/experience. • 5+ Years of general IT/Computer Equipment and Operating System experience in a corporate environment.* *Responsibilities: The Digital Systems Infrastructure Administrator will assist with Building, Configuring, Maintaining, Monitoring, Supporting, Trouble-shooting and Upgrading of NBC News’ Media Asset Management Servers, Storage Arrays and Tape Libraries, and perform various IT infrastructure-related tasks. • Monitor Tivoli Storage Manager Activity, and assist with problem resolution. • Monitor Large IBM 3584 Tape Library, and assist with problem resolution. • Monitor SGL Activity, and assist with problem resolution. • Monitor 2 ADIC Scalar i6K Tape Libraries • Monitor, and Maintain, all MAMT AIX, LINUX and Windows Servers. • Work with the MAM/MET teams, daily, to resolve any OS-related or Hardware-related issues. • Analyze EMC CLARiiON Disk Arrays and Stornext Filesystems, for health and performance. • Work with the Systems Vendors CE’s and Support, to resolve problems. • Support the MAM/MET teams during their periodic Maintenance Windows. • Provide On-Call Systems Support to Users Thanks & Regards, Ahmed [email protected] Direct : 732.734.6968* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
