Good experience in Websphere Portal technologies *Experience applying J2EE patterns and Frameworks to application solutions *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration *Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems *Knowledge of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures *Experience using SQL or similar query language *Experience using versioning tools – IBM Rational products *Verbal and written communication and documentation skill Business Specific Criteria (preferred skills): *Healthcare Industry knowledge *Experience with RUP methodology and rational tools *Experience in IBM WebSphere Portal and object oriented technologies *Demonstrated experience programming using java and J2EE *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration *Experienced applying J2EE security, Concurrency, Transactions, Session Management, J2EE Patterns, and Frameworks to application solutions 2nd Position : Title: GuideWell Java Developer No. of openings: 1 Duration: Six months Description: Software developer for GuideWell web applications on Java Platform within a Scrum agile team. Duties: Developing and testing of front-end and back-end systems supporting an eCommerce site. Analyzing business requirements, story-boards and similar artifacts of the scrum process, identify integration points and other interfaces between complex applications, designing and writing software to meet the business and technical requirements. Working with a software tester to identify and remediate defects within the context of scrum sprint. Interact directly with business users to gather and analyze business requirements Code in a Test Driven Development environment Constantly learn and implement the latest Agile practices such as Kanban, Kaizen Be involved in all facets of software development from design to implementation Required Skills: 5+ years’ experience in Java software design and development including J2EE, Ajax, JQuery, SQL, HTML.
