*Title: Senior BI/Business Objects developer
Location: New Carrolton, VA
Terms: Contract- 1 year*

*Skills:*
* Around 8-10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Business
Intelligence, Operational Data Stores, and Data Warehousing
* 3-5 years in Business Objects or another BI platform
* 3-5 years in working with Oracle database and competent with basic and
advanced SQL
* Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with the ability to
articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Proven experience developing functional requirements, technical
specifications; Strong problem solving skills and ability to logically
analyze complex processes and systems
* Experience with ETL tools highly desired; Understanding of Dimensional
Modeling

Duties and Responsibilities
* Create logical and innovative solutions to solve complex problems
* Translate business requirements into easily understood
reporting/analytical requirements and create technical specifications
documents
* Develop cross suite reporting strategy and help architect the solution
* Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to
improve data accuracy, usability and value across all products
* Participate in creating architecture diagrams and systems documentation
that can be understood and used by business users and IT team members
* Assist in training and provide guidance to business users on BI toolsets;
assist business users with self-service report development.****
