*Senior Opensource Tooling and Process Lead*

*Location: Chicago, IL*

*Duration – 6 months+*



*Skills:*

Tools: Subversion, Maven/Nexus, Jenkins, STS-Eclipse, Plug-in development,
archetype designs, Jira, Sonar (and AOP), Crucible and Fisheye

Ability to design, consult, and direct teams to adopt new technology and
processes – strong soft-skills

Good problem solving and architectural tool solutioning, with rich
background in good software engineering and development practices.

*Responsibilities:*

Drive Client’s new opensource tooling implementation, standards, and
process definition on these new standards

Drive organizational adoption through considerations for organizational
impact and lifecycle management concerns for building a development
practice.

Apply standard software engineering discipline in release management,
continuous integration and testing, aspect oriented concerns, good
archetype and pattern design.

Be able to document and communicate design practice, principles and
standards.





*Senior Opensource Spring Framework Developer*

*Location: Chicago, IL*

*Duration – 6 months+*



*Skills:*

Strong senior java developer familiar with all aspects of application
architecture design, including integration, componentization, separation of
concerns, and quality of service techniques

Strong application architect type that can direct and lead others.

Strong opensource component user

Understanding of the tooling implications above*

*Responsibilities:*

Delivery of new Application Architecture strategies on Spring based
technologies, and other opensource standards

Develop standards and archetypes for Client

Define and communicate design principles and software engineering to other
less senior resources.

Integrate with tooling processes

Develop standard and general application architecture strategies for
component based architecture strategies (general, non Spring)

Develop reusable solutions and patterns for Quality-of-Service concerns
such as logging, exceptions, transactions, security, production support,
etc. – and contribute to enterprise standards

Develop locally with an enterprise concern leveraging industry best
practices and principles

Drive the adoption of these frameworks, application architecture standards,
to the program



*Senior SOA and Service Modeling Expert  - Domain Object Modeler*

*Location: Chicago, IL*

*Duration – 6 months+*



*Skills:*

Understands current SOA practice and design techniques for enterprise
services development

Understands how to leverage and integrate services design according to
Client’s technologies of Spring, ESB (WMB), WSRR, Strong UML and data
modeling background.

Understand concerns and differences around conical service modeling and
implementation.

Ability to map logical to physical designs (strong UML and XSD skills)

*Activities:*

Drive the area of services modeling at Client and how this will translate,
from conceptual, logical, to physical design

Drive the area of enterprise conical model management for Client and a
practice for ongoing model management and practice for development.

Leads and drives to the service modeling and development process and
service lifecycle management, including an updated development processes,
and driving development processes and best practices.  Considerations for
tooling to address concerns from conceptual, logical, and physical layers.



*Senior Presentation Architect – Java Technologies*

*Location: Chicago, IL*

*Duration – 6 months+*



*Skills: *

Strong skills in Spring Java based technologies, IBM Portal technologies,
and non portal MVC applications.

Strong presentation architect for Java and Portal/Portlet  applications as
well standard MVC applications.

Ability to integrate presentation architecture technologies with new
Integrated tooling and testing processes.

Strong component designer for UI designs.

*Activities:*

Drive presentation application architecture standards and patterns around:
Application Architecture and design, presentation component strategies and
reuse, standards and patterns for RIA, multi-browser strategies, separation
of concerns

Drive discussions on presentation architecture testing strategies for client

Drive discussion on integrating components into tooling, and defining
development processes and best practices.

Drive Client’s presentation architecture development practice in support of
program work.
