Somebody who has exp in deploying RAN solutions and end to end development. C/C++ or Java dev background. Femto small cell exp is required. * * *RAN Engineer Requirements:* Telecom Professional with ~12 years of wireless experience in a challenging Telecommunication environment. Candidate should possess proven technical and leadership skills to effectively make contributions in Radio Access Networking, Spectrum Management, Radio Planning, Design, Deployment, Optimization, Operation and Expansion of existing wireless networks. *Need Expertise in the following areas:* · Mobile Telecom Environments: 2G, 2.5G GSM-GPRS-EDGE/iDEN/TDMA/CDMA, 3G-CDMA2000/1X-EVDO, P25-LMR, WCDMA/UMTS/HSPA, 4G-LTE, WiMAX. · Network Elements: BSS, RAN, GERAN, UTRAN, HLR, VLR, MSC, OSS, Packet Core, Circuit Switch. Expertise in introduction of new technology into large network environments, to deploy a common converged mobile network that will strengthen 3G-UMTS services and enhance its 4G-LTE technology transition options. Candidate should demonstrate good understanding of Wi-Fi services. Experience in UMTS design process and related KPI’s, candidate should be able to analyze and review 3G technical requirements such as DCR, Hand-Off Selection criteria, RAN capacity and dimensioning using traffic mix , and interference analysis. Conduct model calibration, coverage, capacity, and interference analysis. Assess, analyze and validate Network Performance KPIs for on air 3G UMTS networks. Validated 3rd party vendors, RF designs using other planning tools. Candidate should also be able to provided frequent high level and low level status reports documenting work progress. and build positive and productive relationships across cross functional project teams.
