Place: NYC. Duration: Long Term. *Main Duties* Overall Purpose of Job: Provide lead for data modeling activities related to Prime Brokerage Business, mentor staff in understanding enterprise data structures and reference data utilized by? Data Warehouse. Additionally lead the effort to implement data modeling standards across projects. Duties: Lead Development Initiatives & Architect data modeling solutions for Prime Brokerage. Analyze Business Requirements, design logical data models and systems functions and present to business/stake holders Coordination and interacting with technical and business groups within the department. Mentor staff, direct and document application design strategies. Perform related duties and participate in special projects as required. *Person Requirements* Required Background: Hand-on Data modeler/ data architect with 8+ years of industry experience designing dimensional data models and financial data warehouse products using industry standard tools such as Embarcadero (preferred) and Erwin. Data warehouse concepts and strong Dimensional Data modeling experience is required. Exposure to Informatica ETL or Business Intelligence tools is preferred. Experience with writing ETL Mapping spec is required. Experience in modeling Custody data ( Activity, Positions & Balances for Equity/FX/Fixed Income asset classes ) is highly desirable. Must have experience in technical development tools such as SQL, MS project, Excel, power point and Visio. Excellent verbal communication skills. Experience in the financial industry and applying SDLC concepts.
