*Linux System Administration Atlanta, GA 1-2 years contract F2F Required Following Phone Screen* ** *Platform: Unix Systems Administration Job Title: Int. Systems Administrator* Explanation for Position: This req is being requested to help support the Linux/Unix infrastructure for Systems Programming. Job Description: Intermediate Red Hat Linux Administrator (HPUX and AIX a plus) Duties /Responsibilities include: Linux file system management o Manage configuration files regarding security access Install 3rd party software on Linux and Unix OS. Will participate in OS upgrades, i.e. upgrading Linux OS. (RH 4,5 and 6) Add printers to Linux OS o Perform quality build checks of installed servers. Conduct audits on servers to ensure environment remains compliant Manage Linux VM’s and Physical OS instances Some scripting knowledge in Shell(Perl and Python and plus) Create and test clusters using MC/ServiceGuard and RH Cluster Write documentation regarding procedures and processes Work with Disk Management Team on Storage Migrations Participate in Unix to Linux Migrations.
