We are looking for a strong Network Engineer that has the 802.1x experience. If you have someone on your bench that has this experience, please send them my way. Thank you in advance!! Our client located in Quincy, MA is in need of a Network Engineer for a 9 month project with strong potential for extension. The Network Engineer will be responsible for working with the Project Manager to develop a rollout schedule for the approx. 70 target locations. Work on the required documentation/communication that will go out to each location prior to the actual configuration/deployment of 802.1X Develop/Confirm Site migration/configuration check list to prepare for enabling 802.1X at a given location. *ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES*: • Develop Router and Switch configurations for identified devices targeted for configuration • Develop associated detail engineering documentation, Day of Plans, test and Backup plans for scheduled migration events. • Perform the following tasks to prepare for deployment: • Distribute 802.1x Juniper Odyssey supplicant to endpoints (Distribution process already completed) • Configure Cisco routers and switches with 802.1 standard settings (templates created already) (off hours) • Configure Juniper Intranet Controllers (Dot1x Authentication Server) • Configure Great Bay Profiler (Endpoint Profiler) • Identify and Classify all devices connected to the network • Provide engineering support for scheduled device configuration/turn-up events *REQUIRED SKILLS:* • Experience utilizing 802.1x Juniper Odyssey supplicant to endpoints • Cisco Configure experience - routers and switches with 802.1 standard settings • Experience configuring Juniper Intranet Controllers (Dot1x Authentication Server) • Technical engineering support and post-migration support experience • Must understand change management protocols and process *Thanks & Best regards* RANI| Recruiter|Oberon IT 1300 W.
