New 6-12 month Contract in Portland, OR.

Role: Sr WebSphere Developer

Client: PGE (Please don’t disclose)

Rate: BOE (do your best!)

Summary
You will be responsible for development, testing, configuration changes,
and migration modifications for the automation of the current manual
process that takes place when a customer submits a Start Service request
through the client's website.

Responsibilities
Production ready WID code objects, fully documented and knowledge transfer
to production support teams.
Follow company's IT Change management processes and procedures
Document all technical specification documents as well as revise or create
support documents
Adhere to company's security standards when transferring, displaying, and
storing customer data.

Qualifications
1+ year of Lead experience
7+ years of experience developing solutions using IBM WebSphere WID, WAS,
DataPower and Process Server toolset.
3+ years of Java programming experience
Web development experience, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related
technologies
XML, XSLT, XSD development experience

Highly Desirable:
SOAP and REST web service development
Experience working in an SOA environment
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum methodology
Subversion tool
LDAP directories, including Active Directory
Masters degree
