*Role: QA Analyst * *Location: Atlanta, GA, Largo, FL and Denver, CO * *Duration: 6+ months (strong possibility for extension)* Client is looking for a QA Analyst: Creates and executes test plans and cases on newly developed/acquired software to evaluate capabilities versus system requirements and documented specifications. Performs software testing, identifies defects and coordinates resolution and retesting. Required Skill Set: The Candidate must: r Have extensive knowledge of common QA practices methodologies r Have the ability to analyze business requirements and use them to plan and prepare test documentation. r Be able to execute test scripts and analyze the results r Have experience in working with test management and defect tracking tools, preferably IBM Rational (can be HP tools) r Be equally capable of working as an individual or as a member of a team while reporting directly to a team leader or manager r Have a high degree of technical understanding and be able to follow and participate in meetings r Be able to work on multiple projects concurrently r Have a background in the financial sector. Experience in the Credit Card / Merchant Processing arena would be preferred. Banking would be an acceptable alternative.
