Job Title: Business Analyst - Warehousing and Distribution Job Location: USA, Minneapolis based Project Title: Project Endeavour, Target Distribution *Project Overview:* - Target has initiated a project to convert one of their non-automated DC’s (RDC) to an automated solution based on the Symbotic robotic case pick technology. - The project team will design and deliver the business process and IT changes required to drive the defined throughput improvement. *Reporting relationship:* - The business analyst will form part of the TCS team that is working alongside partners to ensure successful client delivery. Functionally the Business Analyst will report to the TCS Business Consultants. *Job Description**: * - The job holder will support the delivery of benefits-led to-be business processes and the supporting IT changes in the warehousing and distribution space to ensure the on-time and successful delivery of Project Endeavour. - The job holder will be able to work seamlessly between DC operational staff, Business Technology Teams, Delivery Services teams and logistics within Target, other Target partners such as WCS vendor and Program Management and the wider TCS team to support the scoping, analysis and design activities. - Experienced with using business process analysis techniques such as process mapping and relevant tools such as Visio. - The job holder will be expected to possess and apply knowledge of DC processes such as scheduling, receiving, replenishment, put away, picking and shipping that have been gained through direct operational experience, to the Endeavour Project. - The job holder will be expected to understand processes across order management, transportation management, inventory management and yard management / slot booking and how they relate to warehouse management. - The job holder will be expected to have an understanding of leading relevant software tools, such as WMS and TMS tools and how to apply the tools as part of an overall solution.
