The primary function of the Sr. Middleware Engineer is to architect,
implement, maintain, monitor and support production and non-production
application infrastructure landscapes hosted in the datacenter and customer
locations.

Education & Experience:*
· Should have *seven plus years of IT experience with at least five years
supporting production systems on target platforms and administration
experience in J2EE based application servers*
· BS in Information Systems
· Masters Degree in an engineering discipline is a plus
*· Certified in ITIL v3.0 and one of the supported web applications (IIS,
WebLogic, WebSphere, etc)*

*Skills:
*· Excellent team player with superb communication skills
· Excellent knowledge in administering J2EE based application servers
preferably Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere Application Server, JBoss or
Apache Tomcat
· Strong Experience with web servers Sun One, Apache HTTP or IIS
· Experience in IBM WebSphere MQ
· Strong Linux, Unix and Windows platform experience
· Ability to provide strong leadership and clear direction
· Familiarity with Monitoring tools(eg: Sitescope)
· Familiarity with Incident management system(eg: Clarify)
· Basic knowledge of Networking, Storage, Backup and Recovery
· Understanding of AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, SSH, Firewall, DMZ* *
