This entails evaluating designs, determining appropriate architectures, laying out and styling controls, creating custom controls, wiring up interactions, tying client application into various back-end technologies, and finding and squashing bugs. The iOS developer must: - Be able to evaluate complex and multifaceted designs - Work with other developers on designing architecture and implementation strategy - Collaborate with other disciplines for the production and delivery of project deliverables - Create technical solutions according to interaction/visual specifications and client specific environment - Enjoy making things *Secondary Job Responsibilities:* The iOS Developer has several other secondary responsibilities to support their teams and the company as a whole, including: - Support clients’ development team with answering questions and implementing feedback - Assist in the technical strategy and approach to implementation through collaboration with client development teams - Answer questions on the capabilities of chosen technology *Qualifications and Requirements:* We are open to various levels of experience, especially considering the newness of this technology. With that being said, here are the qualifications that we hope candidates will possess: - At least 3 years professional experience in software or web development - Solid experience with the iOS SDK and Xcode. - Strong object-oriented development experience - Understanding of MVC pattern and its execution - Efficient at working, but with a strong attention to detail - Expert knowledge of Objective-C. - Thorough understanding of memory management and threading in iOS environments. - Experience with major frameworks in the Cocoa Touch, Media, Core Services, and Core OS layers is a MUST. - Prior experience developing production iOS apps. - Knowledge of web services, specifically REST APIs. - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. - Enthusiasm in learning - Experience with agile software development and SCRUM in particular. - General understanding of UI design principles - Strong understanding of desktop and web UI conventions, and control states. - Comfortable opening up Photoshop and Illustrator to tweak screens or create additional icon states. - Positive attitude, proactive and helpful - Strong listening and communication skills. *Education: * Bachelor’s Degree in a Relevant Field of Study (i.e. Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, New Media, Engineering, etc.) *Thanks & Best regards* RANI| Recruiter|Oberon IT 1300 W.
