*Position Title: Business Analyst with ecommerce experience.* *Location: Grand Rapids, MI* *Engagement Length: 12-18 months* * * *Send me your resume @ [email protected]* Job Responsibilities Plans and directs the analysis and gathering of functional requirements used in the design (e.g. use cases and process flows) or based on business requirements documents. Analyzes business and functional requirements to ensure that all requirements have been discovered and addresses. Create use cases in conjunction with wire frames and design compositions to deliver a holistic solution. Manages work independently with guidance on milestone dates provided by the Project Manager. Schedules and conducts requirements gathering sessions and helps to coordinate the review and signoff of deliverables. Contributes to work plan updates. Provides expertise through interpretation and translation of business requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Provides direction to developers on user stories, seeks clarification from product owners on desired functionality Acts as a liaison with IT and business groups to facilitate necessary discussions. Serves as testing liaison with the Quality Assurance area to support the testing efforts. Assists in development of User Acceptance Test scripts (as needed) and helps facilitate UAT sessions by answering questions about functionality and capturing issues and feedback from the UAT session. Leads, organizes and finalizes review sessions. Obtains sign-off of requirements documents with product owners and business stakeholders. Conducts demonstrations prior to and following implementation to ensure that requestor and stakeholders’ needs are fully addressed. Basic Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills At least 7 years of experience with business analysis and data reporting Experience working as a Business Analyst in an Internet-based business environment Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, determining when escalation of issues is necessary Experience gathering/collecting business requirements, such as product search / browse, registration, and checkout in an Internet-based business environment Experience documenting requirements and handling change management to requirements Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team Experience working in an Agile or Agile-type environment Experience with Business to Consumer (B2C) retail Other Helpful Qualifications Experience working with ATG Dynamo Commerce Experience working with Altassian products Confluence and JIRA for requirements documentation and workflow management.
