*Systems Analyst II, Lorain, OH. 6 months +. Ideal candidate will be available for telephone and a face to face interview. Client may consider phone interview to hire and or a telephone and Skype interview process*. Position will be required to collect and review DASD, Tape, and CPU hours for the credit application. It will require analyzing all of this data, proposing and designing common retentions over all divisions for DASD and Tape. Analyzing and reporting CICS/Batch trends on a week to week basis, to project out future budgets. Working with Credit application developers to plan cost increase/decrease for releases. Design and support a retention document for files that need retained and cost analysis of retaining those files. This person will work with management in Lorain and Mason to produce mainframe budgets and reporting. Position will also require this person to coordinate Disaster Recovery for Credit which occurs twice a year. That entails keeping the DR document up to date, and working with team for planning and executing the Disaster Recovery. 1. Minimum of 2-3 years experience or formal training with one or more programming languages currently used in mainframe environment (OS/JCL, CICS, and Datacom). 2. Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. 3. Good presentation (written and verbal) communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions. 4. Independent thinker and energized to research system for areas to reduce costs. 5. Knowledge of credit business systems. (not required, but a plus) 6. Intermediate level analytical, problem solving, multitasking, and time management skills with consistent attention to detail. 7. Intermediate level PC Windows skills (MS Word and MS Excel). Required to prepare cost spreadsheets and propose cost savings. 8. Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (not required, but a plus). 9.
