Work to broad architecture guidelines and non-functional requirements and convert these to Java implementations 2. Module will either be the implementation of a service that needs to consume and process millions of transactions during a normal working day. 3. Will involve usage of rules engine to take decisions on routing and breakdown of the transaction 4. Will involve transaction management, and handling of "multi-phase" commits across multiple servers 5. Will involve the extensive use of cache technology to optimize performance. 6. All advanced cache lifecycle management tasks should be assumed 7. Implementation will be physically deployed to a massively parallel grid. 8. Modules could be OS level or could run with JEE application servers. 9. Perform PoC's and empirical evidence to justify all technical choices being made 10. Construct automated tests to validate achievement of all non-functional requirements 11. Be able to offload units of work to individual developers; and ensure code quality through mentoring, guidance and continuous code review *Experience:* *1.* Must show deep understanding of Java and JEE technologies related to "back end" or service implementation *2.* Strong knowledge of JEE frameworks like Spring Batch, Akka, JMX, JSR 237 (CommonJ), etc. is a must.
