*Tech Lead/ Sr SSIS Developer*

Location : New Jersey



Microsoft Technologies SQL Server Integration Services   Development of
enterprise ETL packages

Estimation of work based on functional requirements documents

Designing, coding, and writing unit test cases from functional requirements

Delivering efficient and bug-free ETL packages and documentation

Identifying system deficiencies and recommending solutions

Development using aids and standards as specified per company policy



*Skills*

Minimum 6 years experience developing SSIS ETL packages

Minimum 3 years as ETL Team Lead or IT Management ,Senior SSIS Developer

This requirement is for a Senior SSIS Developer with expertise in SSIS,
stored procedures and SQL queries experienced in a comprehensive
application development process. The developer will be responsible for
scripts required to extract, transform, clean, and move data and metadata
to load into the enterprise data warehouse, data marts, or operational data
stores utilizing SQL Server Suite as appropriate.



*Skills and Experience:*

- Must have extensive experience with SSIS, T-SQL and developing stored
procedures.

- Must have at least 2 year experience with SSIS 2008 R2. (SSIS 2012
experience is preferred but not mandatory)

- SSIS Advanced component experience required (transformation objects in
data flow).

- Experience in SSIS administration, i.e.; how to make and manage complete
ETL flows.

- SQL experience with a demonstrated ability to develop a data warehouse in
support of business intelligence initiatives.

- Excellent business and analytical skills with an understanding of
technical applications, file constructs, report writing packages and
utilities

- Familiar with industry best practices in designing and developing
scalable ETL solutions in SQL Server.

- Experience with code version control and change management process.

- Technologies required: SSIS, MS SQL Server 2008, and Oracle.

- Experience in Insurance Domain (not mandatory but preferable).



*Will be required to:*

- Plan, coordinate, develop and support ETL processes including
architecting table structure, building ETL process, documentation, and
long-term preparedness.

- Develop cross validation rules to ensure mapping accuracy.

- Define Technical Approach documents (define calculated logic, process
flow, etc.)

- Work independently and establish priorities to meet deadlines and quality
requirements of multiple assignments.

- Participate in Model Conversion (data mapping) to produce a data
dictionary and data mapping matrix between the external software
