Position : Fusion Middleware Administrator
Location : Charlotte,NC
Duration : 12+Months

Position Purpose:

• The primary and ultimate responsibility of the Middleware Administrator
is as follows:
1) The Senior Middleware Administrator is responsible for overall
architecture, design, development, and production support of all the
integration components using Fusion Middleware technology and solution. The
incumbent interacts closely with the various cross functional IT teams and
ensures smooth ongoing operation with the Manager of IT Operations.
2) Works with the IT Operations manager to establish strategies and
priorities for the Middleware based enterprise Ecommerce applications by
analyzing and understanding the current and future industry trends in order
to formulate and recommend plans to keep pace with the business and
technical demands.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, Install, build, and support Fusion Middleware products on a multi
node clustered environments.
• Performance test planning, execution and tuning of Fusion Middleware
products, including Weblogic, SOA, JRockit and Coherence.
• Hands-on admin and configuration for multiple WebLogic domains supporting
full SDLC for several high profile projects.
• Implement monitoring tools and techniques for fusion middle-ware
components.
• Support multiple integration projects in the middleware space,
troubleshooting middle-tier issues and assisting developers on
infrastructure related issues.
• Install new middleware software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and
install patches and resolve middleware software related problems.
• Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, and other
procedures related to IT and application middleware development.
•  Strong knowledge of best practices around securing and auditing
integration frameworks.
• Support IT development team with ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and DBA’s to ensure
optimal solution, performance and reliability.
• Pro-actively contribute to the ongoing development and adoption of new
technology and production processes.
• Regular communication to IT management concerning project's status,
potential risks, concerns, problems, and needs.
• Keep abreast of new design tools, hardware, software, and technology and
make recommendations for future deployment.
• Support mission critical systems in a 24X7 environment.
