HP Test Tools Administrator
Experienced HP tools administrator with a focus on Quality Center (QC/ALM
11) administrator. 3-5 years’ experience in workflow optimization,
maintenance procedures, future needs analysis, training & documentation
required.
Healthcare experience a plus, Epic experience NOT required.
Special focus on QC administration

*Quality Assurance*
Leads system inspection, testing, verification and
validation efforts for large, complex projects, upgrades, implementations,
and special updates.
Develops and defines processes for early defect detection
and removal, testing (e.g. types, levels, strategies, tools and
documentation) and verification and
validation methods and techniques.
Develops and implements quality programs, which includes
tracking, analyzing, reporting, problem resolution and training.
Applies proven analytical and problem solving skills to
help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the
benefits of business
investments in IT initiatives.
Determines what modifications are needed after testing and
leads the implementation of those modifications.
Ensures the viability, functionality and effectiveness of
essential tools.
Maintains the quality of test scripts, ensuring they meet
Sutter Health standards. 25%
Leadership
Provides leadership in establishing quality standards for
life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing and maintenance.
Recommends and implements testing guidelines, policies,
procedures, protocols and processes.
Mentors, advises and provides support to junior colleagues.
Sets strategic direction for the achievement of testing
objectives.
Coordinates and communicates with various levels of
management and staff including business, clinical, and IT departments.
Works with members of IS teams, project teams, affiliate
teams and vendor representatives.
Directs assigned matrixed resources and provides
performance feedback.
Anticipates program release problems and takes corrective
action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments. 25%
*Testing Coordination*
Develops and sets standards to maintain product consistency throughout
product cycle, including the design and build phases through quality
checkpoints and testing.
Develops and manages quality assurance metrics for
reporting to project managers, functional managers/directors, and
executives.
Leads project and overall expectations for testing
pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs and resources.
Ensures delivery of testing goals and objectives, i.e.
meeting commitments and coordinating overall quality assurance schedule.
Manages the planning and execution of product testing
efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery
dates.
Coordinates and is accountable to ensure defects are
addressed prior to moving build into a Production environment.
Provides effective communication to project and functional
leadership regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to
plan.
Works with Project Managers to develop project schedules
and resource allocation models for QA related projects and other activities
such as software
deployment, customer integration, and professional services validation.
Flags the timing of interdepartmental deliverables and the
quality of their output.
Orchestrates the coordination of testing deliverables of
customer visible environments.
Develops, designs, and modifies the tools that comprise the
testing toolkit, including the creation of tasks and checklists for
software deployment. 25%
*Documentation*
Maintains documentation of all testing efforts.
Reviews documentation before it is sent out to External
Customers.
Develops, designs, and modifies the tools that comprise the
testing toolkit, including the creation of tasks and checklists for
software deployment,
dashboards, schedules, testing plans, test scripts, etc.
Develops, writes, and maintains testing weekly status
reports for the project and functional managers. 20%
*Training*
May conduct or lead training sessions as required for
health care providers and customers.
Maintains expert knowledge in the applications design and
use; continues to increase knowledge as the product functionality is
changed or enhanced,
through attendance of appropriate application and technical training
sessions.
Keeps abreast of industry trends/changes/standards and
applies knowledge to areas of expertise.
Keeps current on all integration touch points with assigned
application(s) and downstream applications/teams. 5%
