Oracle & PL/SQL Developer experienced in Oracle 10g to 11g upgrade
Notes from HM:
Need people who have experience with Oracle 10g to Oracle 11g upgrade.
Understanding Java is a nice to have skill
know the difference between the two versions of Oracle, help optimize,
tune, modify etc
The important thing we are looking at here is developers that have gone
through an Oracle 10 to 11 upgrade and specifically had to upgrade Java
code (now nice to have) including remediation of deprecated functions and
modifying SQL and/or hints to target the Oracle 11 optimizer. ( Java is now
nice to have)
Role: Developer
Assignment: ClientCH Server Lifecycle (O&M)
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Oracle 11g+, PL/SQL (Minimum 1 year experience)
- Experience upgrading PL/SQL to support upgrade from Oracle 10g
to 11g
- Remediation of deprecated functions
- Modifying SQL and/or hints to target new optimizer
- Unix & Windows XP
