4.      Experience using the retail EDI transaction set & map development

5.      Experience setting up AS2 communications

6.      EDI Experience (ANSI X12 Standards)

7.      EDI zOS / Gentran

8.      MFT Experience using SFTP/FTP/FTPS

9.      UNIX/Linux/Windows


Experience Required

1.      8 to 10yrs of working experience in B2B using Sterling Integrator
and Gentran Main Frame

2.      Technology Breadth and Depth: Should have significant depth that
includes hands-on experience on Sterling Integrator platforms

3.      Architecture and Engineering:  Fully conversant with architecting
extreme scale applications leveraging Sterling Integrator platforms. He/She
should be a technology leader whose experience and skills span across
applications, software platforms, infrastructure and operations.

4.      B2B domain understanding is a MUST. Associated Retail business
processes and IT systems is considered a plus

5.      Should be conversant with Software Engineering Models including
Agile

6.      Extensive experience in MFT Trading Configuration setup using
SFTP/FTP/FTPS/AS2

7.      Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Dedication to
meeting deadlines and ensuring quality delivery

8.      Experience in Vendor Co-ordination

9.      Excellent interpersonal skills: (e.g., partnering, conflict
management, mentoring)

10.  Strong verbal and written communication skill

11.  Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as
independently.

12.  Ability to successfully adapt & apply industry best practices/concepts


Roles & Responsibilities

1.      Solution Architect - Sterling Integrator

2.      Providing technical and architectural leadership on B2B
applications.

3.      Creating project and application architecture deliverables that are
consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best
practices.

4.      Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product
and technology selection and determining technical approaches.

5.      Advising and consulting SMEs on technology costs, benefits, and
implementation requirements.

6.      Working with business clients and product owners to review business
drivers, needs, and strategies to anticipate future business / technology
needs.

7.      Provide expert knowledge of solution / application architecture, and
consult with business and other technology teams.

8.      Improving processes to ensure alignment between the business
strategies and application technology roadmap.

9.      Communicating implications of architectural decisions, issues and
plans to business and Leadership Team.

10.  Defining and validating non-functional (technical) requirements, and
establishing traceability between requirements and application
architecture/design.

11.  Providing input to the development of project initiation documents
including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables, when
needed.

12.  Providing support / guidance to the development teams during the
analysis, development, and testing processes.

13.  Providing expert knowledge of application architecture, and consulting
with business and technology teams.

14.  Working closely with Performance Engineering on defining the deployment
architecture.

15.  Participating in technical design sessions led by Application
Architects, when needed.

16.  Seeking and capitalizing on the opportunities to improve productivity,
improving solutions quality, and improving cost effectiveness.

17.  Improving processes to ensure alignment between the business strategies
and application technology roadmap.

18.  Anticipating barriers to change and creating opportunities to remove
them.

19.  Creating a culture which is based on knowledge sharing and learning
from best practices.

20.  Exhibiting high level of professional flexibility and volunteering
innovation and new ideas.

21.  Driving the collaborative development of the technology strategy,
technology standards, roadmaps, and practices.

22.  Interacting with internal & External Teams

23.  Direct/Liaison offshore activities based on task priority and timeline

24.  Publish/Provide inputs towards Weekly Status Reports.

25.  Participate in Daily Stand ups, Status meetings etc.,
