Job Title Senior Engineer Lifecycle Engineering Support Relevant Experience (in Yrs) 5-10 Yrs Technical/Functional Skills BS and Electronics Engineering and 5+ years experience within manufacturing environment. Strong background required in verification and validation of product and process changes. Requires medical device experience and familiarity with FDA, ISO, cGMP compliance. Will work with a project team to assess designs, processes, procedures and all other aspects of designing and producing Insulin Pumps. This position requires an electronics or software background and will work to plan, execute, and finalize product based and cross functional projects associated with Animas Insulin Delivery Systems. Requires an engineering background and experience working with manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance. Collaborates with internal and external partners to facilitate progress. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Lead, direct, and manage engineering and lifecycle engineering support projects . Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications. . Confirms system's and components' capabilities. . Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities. . Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. . Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations. . Completes projects by training and guiding technicians. . Collaborate with external engineering firms and internal stakeholders in Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality Assurance. . Work on quality improvement initiatives, come up with design improvement, manufacturing process improvement initiatives . Work on CTQ parameters to define and plan for design changes, investigate the design changes and perform risk assessment . Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects. . Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. . Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes when necessary. . Track project milestones and deliverables. . Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. . Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
