*Position: Cisco VOIP Engineer Duration: 6+ Months Contract Location: Res-ton, VA Must be Local to VA* *US Citizen or GC Holder only* *Required:* Need to onboard an expert Voice engineer to be able to help us through several POC processes and make sure the new solution integrates well with our environment and the engineering design we come up with for the enterprise voice/communication environment is solid. *Statement:* Act as an Engineering lead and provide engineering design and solution for upgrading the enterprise VOIP environment. Help operations team perform POC on Cisco Voice technologies and related competing technologies (including Acme Packet SBCs), integrating the new solution to the rest of the enterprise IP network environment. Closely work with internal architecture team and help standardize new Voice technologies to be deployed in the production environment as part of the Enterprise Voice Upgrade Effort. *Skill level: * Senior (7+ yrs) *Skills: * Senior Voice Engineer with the ability to lead a large voice modernization project. Prior hands on experience and in-depth understanding of the following VOIP related areas is Detailed focus on SIP (Line and PSTN) Session Border controllers (Acme Packet and Cisco CUBE) Cisco Call manager (CUCM): Publisher Subscriber Local survivability (fail over) Gateways PSTN (PRI access) Cisco voice mail. Cisco presence Cisco soft phone and Jabber client Cisco Call Center and other call center (like cloud Contact Center) IVR DR for call centers solutions Recording solutions Integration to other systems Cisco to Avaya Cisco to IPC With room based systems (polycom) With sametime, Exchange or Lync Cisco CDR Alarm management and Logging Ehealth Spectrum OPNET Security for VOIP to include use of Firewalls, encryption.
