*Position: Android Mobile Application Developer Location: Addison, IL Duration: 6 Months Contract Must be Local to IL US Citizens and GC holders are preferred!* *Required:* Working with development team to develop mobile applications- on the iPad and Android. *JOB FUNCTIONS* - Work with a product team in the development of iPad, Android, and Windows Mobile Applications and their respective devices. -Be involved with all stages of application development involved with design, modifications, development and implementation of mobile applications, from UI design to final testing. - Work closely with other developers to implement server APis and services to support planned mobile functionality. - Work on an ongoing basis with UI Designers, Program Managers and Testers in a team environment. - Consistently write performance-minded, highly-readable code using OO best practices. - Utilize knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mobile application field. *QUALIFICATIONS* *Education and Relevant Experience * · Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science · The ideal candidate will have one to three years’ experience in embedded software development for portable devices, and should have one or more published mobile phone applications. · Xcode, Android, SDK and Eclipse development environment experience. · Programming for iOS4 (iPad, iPhone) *Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * · Will have a passion for working with mobile applications and enjoys challenges and problem solving. · Will have prior experience or educational experience developing mobile applications as well as participating on the final testing process of these applications. · Will utilize defined core technologies and best practice standards for development and have an ongoing desire to acquire new skill to ensure technical competency. · Objective-C, Cocoa Touch and Java experience · Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills experience with a mobile device focus · SQLite & Core Data DB experience · Experience with web technologies preferred REST/XML/SOAP Web Services, JSON, HTML5, and WPF · Net technologies (VB, C#, ASP, Visual Studio, C++) a plus. * Regards, Edward Lee-IT Recruiter 609-223-9188 IT Brainiac Inc.
