Description:
6+ years with ETL and primarily using IBM DataStage Designer, DataStage
Manager, DataStage Director (Version 8.1) including job design, tuning,
optimization Data loading and distribution, clustered and non-clustered
indexes, table structure design, report development, data model mapping
3+ years Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and Oracle SQL Tuning
Source control systems Unit testing, code reviews and inspections
Testing Support: SIT, UAT, creation of test plans/scripts, manual and
automated test execution
Implementation, Production Support, Problem Resolution Full SDLC
Responsibilities including
Requirements Analysis, SDLC & Project Methodologies, change control
methodologies, sizings,
Design:
FSDs and Technical Specifications
Learning new systems and processes, providing knowledge transfer and
guidance to peers
Relationship with business partners, process improvement
Knowledge of SQL Server, UNIX Shell scripting, Autosys and Cognos
Reporting a plus
