7-10 years of experience in a team setting as a Teradata and/or Oracle DBA, providing 24/7 support to mission-critical applications and databases 7+ years experience as an Teradata DBA in a production environment highly desired Experience with SQL Server and/or DB2 UDB is a plus Solid and proven skills in managing database lifecycles - builds, patching, backups, recoveries, tuning Strong familiarity with industry-standard monitoring, backup, and security tools Experience with Viewpoint, TASM, PDCR and DBQL technologies Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 database support Monitor incident ticket queue and troubleshoot and resolve database incidents within SLAs Monitor backup results and resolve/troubleshoot failed database backups Monitor storage capacity and consumption, trend long term usage, and proactively work with Architecture group to plan capacity expansion Monitor database and server performance and identify current and future potential bottle-necks - PDCR & DBQL Review, maintain, and periodically test database recovery procedures Monitor violations discovered by security compliance tool and remediate issues as needed Review and support the installation of database maintenance & security patches and upgrade databases to supported release levels Support application upgrades of third party software, where a database is a part of the vendor's implementation Configure and maintain Viewpoint and TASM Maintain documentation store of DBA operational policies and procedures. *Regard: Arnav Singh - IT Recruiter Direct: 609-388-1604 [email protected] [email protected]* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
