Role : Integration engineer/Sys Admin Location : New York,USA Duration : 6 Months Position Description: This is an integration-engineering role within a distributed global organization, Corporate Technology Engineering. The individual will be responsible for managing a portion of the 2500+ Corporate Technology server infrastructure in support of Compliance Risk & Governance Technology. This is a demanding role requiring attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a self-motivated team player. The ability to collaborate and communicate with development teams is essential. This role will be focused on maintaining the infrastructure for these applications in the North America, Asia and Europe regions and integrating applications for these areas in the region and executing on our infrastructure strategy and projects globally. Skills Required: 3-5 years' experience in technical role where integration was one of the primary responsibilities 1. Intermediate Linux RHEL 4, 5 or 6 server knowledge and Linux command line. 2. Intermediate Windows 2003 and 2008 server knowledge. 3. Experience integrating 3rd party applications in an Enterprise environment and working with application development teams 4. Ability guiding and influence development teams on firm technology standards, infrastructure best practices and deployment strategies. 5. Project coordination experience in infrastructure projects, such as database upgrades, OS upgrades, hardware infrastructure equipment moves. Skills Desired: 1. Integration knowledge of DB products such Sybase 15.5 or SQL Server 2008 2. Understanding of Storage technologies, such as NAS and SAN. 3. Ability to write technical and operational documentation, prepare status reports and interface closely with our enterprise infrastructure teams. 4. Ability to troubleshoot system performance issues. 5. Ability to assess network latency issues as they relate to application performance. 6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System or Electrical Engineering 7. Intermediate Scripting Knowledge in Unix Shell, Perl, Windows batch and Java Script.
