REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in a computer science, engineering related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. 5+ years of experience in a multi-product, multi-vendor network integration environment in telecommunications. Expert level experience with Broadworks architecture. Must be familiar with the different network elements that compose the Broadworks VOIP platform. In-depth strong working knowledge of SIP/SDP and TCP/IP. In-depth knowledge on Acmepacket Session Border Controllers 4250, 4500, & 9200 models. Working knowledge of various Adtran CPE products (Total Access & Netvanta models) Strong knowledge of Diameter protocol & it’s use in establishing Quality of Service for VOIP calls as well as its implementation in IMS architecture. Adtran operating system is required Linux/Unix operating systems is required Working experience with HPQC / ALM or other similar test management tool Strong oral and written communications skills Highly productive quick learner that seeks and accepts challenges. Excellent team player with Can-Do attitude and works well under pressure PREFERRED Hands-on experience on performing software & patch upgrades on different Broadworks servers Familiarity with Ciena Service Delivery Switches 311v, 3930, 3916. Understanding of Metro Ethernet networks. Knowledge of Edgewater Networks products (Edgemarc 4550, Edgeview). Working experience with Polycom Soundpoint & VVX IP phones Understanding of the PacketCable Multimedia method of Quality of Service. Experience with Arris eMTA products. Understand of provisioning model for these devices as well as modifying configuration files through the use of PacketAce file editor. Working experience with Camiant Policy Server. Understanding of the IMS technology Experience in the software development life cycle, agile and lean process, as well as test execution and root cause analysis skills Experience with Hammer XMS VOIP Diagnostic tool. Writing & running SIPp scripts. Experience with JDSU HST-3000 test sets. Knowledge of the following network protocols DHCP, SNMP, SMTP, POP3, HTTP, HTTPS, ARP, DNS, NTP.
