*Qualifications:*
Need candidates who can come for in-person interview
- Need Oracle DBA with experience with Physical structures who
possesses knowledge on Oracle Golden Gate, Exadata & OEM Grid control.
- Migrate all existing databases from Oracle 10gR2 Solaris to 11gR2 on
Exadata.
- Help design and implement active-active & active-passive site to site
replication using Golden Gate, character set conversion for few databases
from us7ascii to utf8.
- Help cross-team collaboration (interaction with Logical DBA’s, Systems
Analysts, Application Developers, QA teams), delivery of database projects
per schedule and helping implement OEM for monitoring, reporting and
proactive performance tuning.
- Proactive Performance tuning of applications to leverage Exadata features
for optimal application performance, security, capacity management and
automation.
- Strong pl/sql and sql coding skills to mentor developers.
- Help facilitate database migration from 10g to 11gR2 and work with
development team to test application, modify code to take advantage of new
11g features and Exadata features.
- Help implement conflict resolution techniques for bi-directional
asynchronous replication with Golden Gate.
- Maintain and administer databases and supporting automation (e.g.
database objects, security roles, capacity, performance tuning,
import/export, alert rules)
- Participate in database infrastructure/future-state design planning and
implementation.
- Understand & analyze software compatibility issues with Oracle 11gR2 (Ex:
Weblogic to Oracle RDBMS compatibility, Drivers compatibility etc).
- Possess strong working knowledge of High Availability, Backup and
Recovery options and help to implement solutions.
- Knowledge of data quality, data management and data testing strategies
and practices.
- Implementing and configuring database monitoring scripts and tools.
