*The position is for a programmer working in the Legal and Compliance
Technology area to manage a wide variety of reporting and development
initiatives within the e-communications surveillance and archiving area.
The applicant is expected to be self-motivated, keen to learn the business
and dedicated to a high level of customer service. Three or more years of
development experience in XML & SQL in the Securities industry and
familiarity with Windows and Unix development.  *

*Understanding of basic database concepts and development techniques for
database systems*

*Organized and structured*

*Delivery focused*

*Successful track record working under pressure and to deadlines*

*Personable with good communication skills*

*Essential Experience:*

*5+ years .NET development with C# or vb.net*

*5+ years MS SQL programming, stored procedures and views*

*5+ years XML development, XML, XSL, XSLT transformation*

*Working knowledge of network protocols and services such as ICAP, HTTP(S),
SMTP, SSH*

*Familiarity with building and utilizing multi-threaded applications*

*Understanding of Row Level Security within MS SQL*

* *

*Supplementary Experience:  (Useful additional skills)*

*Good understanding of scripting languages such as PERL*

*Familiarity with Sybase & PeopleSoft data access*

*Good understanding of COM+*

*Familiarity with SEC Email archiving and communications surveillance
regulation*

*Knowledge of Orchestria / CA DLP / Dataminder applications*

*Experience with Network architecture*

*Understanding of RMI*
*Java experience not required but would be a plus
