Job Role: Sharepoint Business Analyst(Sharepoint 2010)
Location: Federal Way, WA
Duration: 3 month contract

Role Description
The selected individual will be experienced working with business units,
application developers and administrators who are migrating existing
business processes and content to SharePoint 2010. The successful candidate
will be responsible for examining, understanding, capturing and documenting
business requirements related to the SharePoint enablement. The Business
Analyst will work directly with business units across the organization as
well as Information Technology Project Managers and Architects, external
consultants, and the Manager of Systems Administration.

Tasks
•        Meet with business unit representatives to understand what they
do, how they operate, examine existing business processes and capture
requirements
•        Identify gaps in processes and opportunities for improvements and
automation using SharePoint.
•        Generate technical requirements and designs to meet business needs
•        Document and help implement the new processes, features and tools
•        Train business users on implemented solutions

Required Skills and Experience:
•        Exceptional business requirements gathering and documentation
ability
•        High attention to detail concerning the management and analysis of
data
•        Strong verbal and written communication skills
•        Experience delivering SharePoint 2010 solutions.  This includes
both “out of the box” features and extending features as needed to deliver
innovative solutions.
•        Deep understanding of information architecture, taxonomy, content
types and their respective applicability to sites, site collections and
SharePoint solutions
•        Ability to facilitate design sessions with business users and
foster a collaborative approach
•        Aptitude and interest in technology with the ability to
communicate effectively with non-technical members of the organization
•        Strong organizational skills
•        Knowledge of project management and systems analysis
methodologies.

Preferred Skills:
•        Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt schedules to meet
the availability of business representatives
•        Must grasp concepts quickly.
•        Self-motivated and the capability to work without supervision.
•        An understanding of content migration tools, SharePoint 2013,
HTML5, JavaScript and CSS experience
•        Ability to deliver user adoption programs
•        Business oriented with knowledge of Non Profit industry.
