*Position: Senior Performance Tester* Location: Houston, TX Length: 6+ months Start: ASAP Interview: Phone Rate: $50/hr all inclusive on CTC *Job Requirement:* · Create performance test approach, plan, and script, which will outline architecturally how the solution will be performance tested, the Load/Peak/Standard performance targets, the sections of the solution that require testing, and finally the statistics that will be computed and produced for external consumption outlining the performance of the system. · Execute actual performance test automates scripts from VSTS · Support the deployment process through automated functional and performance testing as builds are deployed to QA, UAT, and Prod environments · Troubleshoot environmental issues and application configuration issues and provide feedback to developers · Code performance tests in C# for various application and infrastructure components *Experience and Skills:* · *Around 6-8 years of working experience in software load testing and test automation of .net applications * · *At least 3 years of experience with VSTS 2010, Microsoft Test Manager, Test Controllers, Test Agents, and testing load balance configurations.* · *Extensive experience in testing applications implemented in .NET, C#, JavaScript, XML, HTML, SQL Server and Oracle. * · *Good understanding of the Microsoft technology stack from a test perspective, including .NET, Oracle, XML, IIS, WCF, and WPF. * · Experience in testing Web Services. · Worked on Manual and Automated testing of various Web and Client/Server applications. · Strong debugging, problem solving and documentation skills. · Quick learner, hard worker, strong team player with excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
