Position: IT Project Manager
Duration: 5-6 Months Contract
Location: Sun Prairie, WI.  *

*Specific Requirements:*
P&C Insurance industry experience.
Experience with projects concerned with PeopleSoft financials, merger and
acquisition projects for GL consolidation.

*General Requirements:*
At least 6 years of hands-on Project Management experience demonstrating
the following skills:
- Engage internal business clients to understand their business objectives
and translate them into delivery plans.
- Establish positive working relationships with customers, stakeholders and
team members.
- Lead project team to deliver business and technical objectives on-time
and within budget
- Act as a problem solver and drive decisions.
- Develop and gain agreement with stakeholders on project plans and budgets.
- Follow established project management practices including management of
scope, requirements, issues, and risks.
- Create MS Project schedule and utilize the schedule to communicate and
manage the work.
- Manage project budget and maintain ongoing cost benefit analysis
- Report status, issues and risks according to PMO processes and schedule
- Ensure that all required project deliverables are created and kept up to
date
- Prepare project for governance gate approvals.
- Collaborate with other project and program managers to manage project
interdependencies.
