Send resumes to *kris...@dyssinc.com || 415-259-4217* ******************************************************* *Phone Skype* *Position: SAP Basis Administrator.* *Location: White Plains, NY.* *Duration: 6+ Months.* *Major Purpose of Job: SAP ERP and BI landscape hardware migration* *SAP BI upgrades.* *SAP BPC upgrades.* *SAP Enterprise Oracle upgrades.* *The main focus of this position is to do migrations, System Copies and Oracle Upgrades and Integrations. *Client is migrating entire SAP landscape from Itanium IA64 servers to x86 hardware platforms *Essential Job Functions: * Candidate will perform the following activities in a Windows/Oracle environment with dual stack: • Migrate current SAP ERP and BI landscapes from Itanium IA64 servers to x86 hardware platforms. • Upgrade/Install Oracle databases from 10x to 11x in ERP and BI landscapes • Upgrade BI landscape from NW 7.1 to NW 7.3 • Upgrade BPC from 7.5 to 10.1 Candidate may also be called upon to perform some or all of the tasks indicated below: • SAP Basis Administration (all aspects) on ERP, BI, Enterprise Portal, PI, and Solution Manager, BPC • Oracle administration, installations, upgrades • Implementing SAP installations, upgrades, Support Packages, and Enhancement Packages • Transport Management • Performance monitoring, Workload Analysis & Tuning • Performing Client Copies • Portal Administration • System Copies and/or Migrations • Participate in Disaster/Recovery drill as needed Requirements: Candidate must possess the following administrative skills: • All aspects of SAP BASIS administrative tasks on ECC 6.0, BI 7.1/7.3, Enterprise Portal 7.0/7/3, SAP PI 7.3, and Solution Manager 7.0, BPC 7.5/10.1 • Java administration • Knowledge of SAP dual stack split tool • Installation/upgrade/admin on Oracle 10 and 11 databases • Strong knowledge of System Copies/Migrations • SAP Client Maintenance • Support Package installation • SAPGUI • Correction and Transport Management System • Batch/Background Jobs Management • Operational Monitoring and Tuning • System Performance monitoring Experience: Candidate must possess experience in the following areas: • 6+ years of experience as an SAP BASIS Administrator - including Installation, Implementation, Support, and Upgrades. • Extensive BASIS Administration experience with SAP ECC 6.0, BI 7.1 • Working knowledge of Windows 2003, 2008 • Working knowledge of Oracle 10x and 11x • Strong knowledge of system copies and migrations across multiple OS/DB platforms and dual stack systems • Experienced in installations/upgrading SAP systems and Databases.
